Model Driven Architecture

Model Driven Architecture is an approach to using models in software development each separate from the others. It allows certain kinds of models to be used in sync with one another for the purpose of increasing productivity. The overall idea of Model-Driven Architecture is the separation of the operation of a system from the details of the way that system uses its abilities.

MDA provides an approach in which systems are specified independent from the platform that supports them. It also provides an approach for specifying platforms and choosing a particular platform for the system. The three primary goals of MDA are portability, interoperability and reusability.

Why MDA?

The benefits of this service today is no short of overwhelming. In a constantly fluctuating economy, having a system such as this can be of great convenience to a business owner. This convenience could even make or break a small company against competition that is more and more becoming more aggressive than ever before.
